Report for revdep on RcppEnsmallen turns up one new failing package:

sparsevb

Fails with:

/Library/Frameworks/R.framework/Versions/4.4-arm64/Resources/library/RcppEnsmallen/include/ensmallen.hpp:32:4: error: "*** C++14 compiler required; enable C++14 mode in your compiler, or use an earlier version of ensmallen"
   32 |   #error "*** C++14 compiler required; enable C++14 mode in your compiler, or use an earlier version of ensmallen"

I've done the following steps:

reached out to the sparsevb maintainer via e-mail (11/29/24)
Created an issue ticket on the issues location: https://gitlab.com/gclara/varpack/-/issues/2
Submitted a PR with the necessary fix: https://gitlab.com/gclara/varpack/-/merge_requests/1
