let's test an old version or two, just to make sure:

(and for testing version in firefox a click is enough https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/youtube-addon/versions/ )

Works for me on Firefox with version 4.1188.

thank you @MrQubo, at mine it also kept working in Firefox but not in Chrome, but i think this feature is important so i thought it has/had enough users so that some would arrive here.
