VSCode Connection/Reconnection Issues

VSCode extension offers somewhat confusing experience when Coder is logged out. For instance, if you have multiple Coder workspaces open, it's not obvious what is happening. One VSCode window might let you know that you signed out and that you need to relogin. But another one will just be unusable and disconnected, even after I re-auth Coder.

I saw two reconnection attempts in VSCode when Coder asked for me to reconnect to the session and paste in new token from the website. I found that surprising since usually I hit it maybe every 2/3 days before. What determines when Coder needs a new token for a VSCode session?
