I've tried to add some documentation, but it isn't that well refined yet: https://coderefinery.github.io/sphinx-lesson/

how much rst/markdown basics do we duplicate?
how much do we consider advanced use cases?
Is there enough to get new people started quickly?
is there enough that people can start new lessons? (lower priority)
