Overmind - opinions?

Hi!

I don't know if it fits to "general" topic but let's try 😄

This discussion is mostly targeting core contributors and contributors, so let's get back to the merit!

This is the only open-source, large-ish scale web app I know that utilizes the greatness of Overmind (yes, I am biased, but don't want to do anything with it).

I wonder - what do you think about using it? Any pros/cons emerging after some period of time while working with it?

I am hugely curious because the package itself is kind of "orphaned" which isn't the best position when it comes to evolution and further development - and also - maintenance.

I would appreciate sharing thoughts, opinions, observations, insights, and anything that might be helpful for others who consider using Overmind, despite the fact that it doesn't have "active maintainer".

NOTE: I saw this discussion, but some time passed since then so I feel it's a good point to evaluate the situation again, for the record 😄
