gfxCardStatus does not keep the preference after MacBook restart

I have a 2010 macbook pro running with Mavericks
It does not keep the chosen preference (e.g. Integrated) when the computer re starts, and comes back to automatic option.
Moreover in some cases even if integrated is chosen, it switches to Nvidia

You're seeing two different behaviors here:

• gfxCardStatus intentionally turns on Dynamic Switching when it launches, so this is expected behavior.
• The second is a bug with 2010 machines; see Fixed issue where 2010 MBPs switch to Discrete Only after apps quit #107.
