I think that migrating to a framework will help us to maintain the website more easily and implement internalization.

I propose to use Next.js it's an react framework.

I can start the migration if you want.

The site is one static HTML page plus a self-contained web app (the tutorial). What would the additional complexity of a framework help with, exactly?

well, the documentation is.. the site itself. as @jgm noted we need the existing functionality to remain the same.
