I found Neptune breaks on julia 1.8, the same error as this Pluto issue. I guess dependencies need to be updated.

Hi. I don't see any pull requests on this. If someone makes one, I will accept it (thanks).
Personally, I have moved most of my work to Visual Studio, but recently had had reason to want to bring
Neptune into line with Pluto (but without the reactivity)

@compleathorseplayer , That would be awesome!
I agree with your reasoning, for computations which are resource hungry hence time consuming, your choice of turning off reactivity is a good one.
Can't wait for an updated version.

I wish one day it will be an option in Pluto.jl itself.
