Currently the sharing button on the /new page for a model shows that the model is private, even though the user isn't logged in and doesn't have a Pro account. Perhaps this should a popup should say something like, "Please sign in or sign up to share this simulation."

@MattHJensen I think this was the intended behavior. Simulations are private by default, even for free-level users. They just don't have an option to share them. Once they sign-up, they are directed to a permanent link and settings that they may have altered like whether the simulation is public or not will carry over to the simulation on the permanent link.
I agree that the text could be worded differently for users who are not logged in.
I liked @MaxGhenis's idea of being able to choose whether your simulations are public or private by default. Once this is set up, it would be easy to make it so new users have sims that are public by default (if that's something that we want to do).
