How can I use the model to call API?

If I want to call for example Calendar API, asking "Which day is today?", the model is answering [{'generated_text': 'Which day is today?\nWhich year is today?\nWhere on Earth is the moon?\nWhere on Mars is Mars?\nWho was I last week?\nWho was the president before Obama?\nWho was the last man who won?'}].
Could we have a generic usage example please?
