@TheNadScratcher
Copy link

Firefox at least allows me to launch a Remmina connection, for example, by pasting file:///home/[username]/.local/share/remmina/local_rdp_server_192-168-0-248.remmina into the address bar. However, if I try to save this link as a speed-dial entry it automatically pastes https:// to the beginning of the string. I can subsequently ONLY change this by removing the "s" from https, but cannot remove http:// or https:// entirely, they are simply added back when I save.

I can easily create such a bookmark on my bookmarks bar, but when I copy it to the speed-dial folder using bookmarks manager it does not show up. If I create the shortcut directly in speed-dial, then attempt to edit it via bookmark manager, I am no longer able to edit the URL.
