Both this model and technoic.js model are really good models. I love both of them but where one is great the other lacks. This model doesn't account for super continents or proper crust age and densities. Tectonic.js does a great job with this and I think combining these two models would serve to create a really awesome model.
Additionally when two continental crusts collide to create an orogeny two plates are acting way too rigid. At the boundaries of each continental crust and the oceanic crust should cause the oceanic crust to dive down causing a 'sticking' of one continent crust to another. I think accounting for density of the oceanic crust will help this more accurately.
Just some thoughts and I'm working on learning both code bases.
