[FlexFields] Cross-space references are not working in FlexFields editor #4132

Describe the bug
Cross-space references are not working in FlexFields entry editor. This seems an existing issue with the default field editors and the app framework (contentful/field-editors#1783 and contentful/ui-extensions-sdk#2050)

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Add a cross-space/external reference field in a content type
Configure FlexFields for that content type and open the FlexFields editor

Expected behavior
The fields should display similar to the default entry editor
