Whisper

Whisper for a long time was pushed aside in favor of the main ethereum research and development. Now, there's a bit more traction with someone at the foundation pushing it forward. We could implement whisper functionality quite easily. The biggest challenge would be storing the messages if the user is offline and scaling the Whisper services. These were some of motivations for wanting to write a Whisper node in TypeScript but it's quite a heavy task.
