Not possible to update profiles

• Uploading profile pictures does not work
• Editing a bio does not work

Hey @hrdwdmrbl thank you for opening an issue.

Could you describe your hardware and browser set-up and let us know if anything shows up in the dev console? It's possible that the content is uploading to IPFS and just takes a while before it prompts you to commit it to chain with a transaction.

@lsaether Mac, up to date Chrome. Yes there were lots of errors in the console the whole time. I even tried uploading a 2kb image just to see if that might work but still it did not.
Does it work for you? I see that no one has yet uploaded a picture so my guess is that it doesn't work for anyone...

I believe that may be a problem with the CORS that we still need to fix. Since I was developing with a CORS add-on and assumed it was only a problem with dev server, it still needs to be fixed for production. I can see pictures and IPFS data on my computer.
