GH Actions help? Default configured pytest from ci.yml failing

Hello. I'm new to using cookiecutter-django and fairly new to GH actions and Docker. The pytest workflow predefined in .github/workflows/ci.yml is failing for me, with the message:

on the Build the Stack step.

I get a similar issue trying to use debug using act in my local environment:

It looks like maybe the directories aren't mapping properly? Outside the container, those .postgres / .django files seem to be present. I am wondering if the particular repo names chosen might be a problem or how I might even be able to identify what should be happening here. I'm concerned about that local run where it looks like it's still trying to reference something from my local env when it should be in the container. Running that stat command from my local outside of docker gives a proper stat response, not the error one from the workflow.

Gah, I haven't solved everything yet but I realize after adding some debugging commands this is because the .envs directory isn't included in the repo.
