Describe the new feature you would like

I have a laptop with nvidia GPU and proprietary drivers. I also have the GPU in hybrid mode. I notice that whenever i ping for any reason the GPU it will wake up and take 6 or 14w (for example with nvidia-smi command). This is also the case while monitoring the GPU. Since every laptop with dedicated GPU has also a fan which is monitored well from the extention, and the fan will start in a real load, can you add a setting to start monitoring the nvidia statistics if a particular fan is started?
