Is it possible to use _dtp in a pivot table?

No, it's only compatible with grids for now.
I'm not even sure it's possible to apply this to pivot reports... I'd have to try it and see how it behaves.

Wow!!! I'm very surprised. Usually, these objects are so different than grids that they require a lot of attention and extra work to make them work with any keyword. In this case, it's the other way around: free bonus!

Hi Norm

While _dtp doesn't work with the pivot table, the fact that you can filter dates in the pivot table like you can with grids made me think it might be possible. This feature is not important to me at this point in time.

In the set up I have I was able to use _lf on the top grid to achieve the same result. I did discover that the keywords had to be in this order to work.
_lf=view_1812
_dtp

If they were reversed then the date picker disappeared.

Hmmm,
When I try using a _lf it does not affect the other Pivot Table.
That said, I think you are filtering a table and linking that to a Pivot table, correct?
I am trying to link one pivot table to another
