  • Firefox 78.0b9 for Mac
  • Privacy Possum v. 2019.7.18

On both of these Fingerprintjs2 test sites, the fingerprint always stays the same:
https://ddzero.net/
https://valve.github.io/fingerprintjs2/
I tried disabling other addons, but could not get the fingerprint to change.

console output:

The character encoding of the HTML document was not declared. The document will render with garbled text in some browser configurations if the document contains characters from outside the US-ASCII range. The character encoding of the page must be declared in the document or in the transfer protocol. ddzero.net

As you can see by the WebGL error there are some altered settings in my about:config so it may be a local problem.

I've the same with firefox 77.0.1 on linux.
However if I disable the buit-in "enhanced tracker protection" from firefox, it works again. Seems there's a conflict there.

Not my case. Chrome. Changes every time on valve.github.io/fingerprintjs2. If you're interested, I have a custom test script. Privacy Possom does not change the fingerprint.

Bumping this.

The only weird thing that I can say, in my case, is that in the first loading of a certain Fingerprintjs2 tab, the fingerprints stay the same. After a tab refresh, however, they become different.

Same fingerprint value on the new Firefox for Android!
