GraphQL - block types inside matrix field being used on entry

I currently use a matrix field where each block type is a different component for the site e.g. CTA Bar, Hero Banner. This is so the client can use Craft as a page builder when creating/editing content.

I am currently including all of the components in the GQL query and it only returns what is used but I feel like this could be optimised somehow.

Is there a way to query what matrix blocks are being
using used on an entry via GraphQL? I can then use these typenames to programmatic create another GQL query with only the ones being used.

Never mind - I have realised that you have to include __typename in order to find this out 🤦🏼 .
