Standardize display of plugin name in Field Type dropdown menu

When creating a new field in Craft, there is a dropdown menu for "Field Type"...

And of course, field types can be added via 3rd party plugin (like the Address example above). My plugin writes it as Address (Smart Map), but I've probably seen a half-dozen ways for fields to attribute their originating plugin.

There's no consistency between any of those examples. It lets 3rd party plugins appear as if they were native fields (for better or worse).

Can we standardize a way of displaying the plugin source next to the field type?
