Doesn't trigger the refresh event when uploading images.

I'm trying to embed this feature to my current theme, and find that the on( 'change' ) event doesn't work when I upload images.
I tried to add console.log( 'changed' ); in the jQuery( '.custom-media-url' ).on( 'change', function() { ... }); and it wasn't triggered.
