I imagine that there is a program that we can use to manage our resume. Free of charge, freely available and changeable by anyone. Simply open source.
The program should allow us to import the resume from social networks like LinkedIn and Facebook. And of course it should be able to export the resume to these networks.
It should also be able to import and export the Europass, the European framework for applicants.
And it should be able to export the CV as a hire-me page in the form of a static github page.
We would then have a tool with which we could easily manage our personal CV and save it locally. The advantages are obvious:
We could decide with one click in which network a new career step should be published
Depending on the context, we could say whether we want to send the resume as a PDF application in response to a specific job advertisement, or whether we want to present ourselves publicly on the global market.
It has to run under Windows, macOS and Linux and work as an APP on the mobile phone.
And if we have such a program, it must also allow image editing. Like on a mobile phone, it must be possible to resize and crop a profile picture. Because profile pictures have a different format in social networks and the Europass.
Sounds complicated, but it is not.
