Cannot add package type files #141

Summary

Error “The file doesn’t exist.” when adding package type files

System Setup

  • iOS: 15.2
  • Cryptomator: 2.0.4

Cloud Type

Other File Provider

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Get a package file say test.swiftpm (or test.ooutline as package)
  2. Drag & drop (copy & paste) the file into Cryptomator in Files.app
  3. Error “The file doesn’t exist”.

Expected Behavior

Expect them to be copied into the vault correctly.

Actual Behavior

No files are copied with an error.

Thank you for your bug report! Sorry that we didn't look into this sooner, a lot was going on.

Would you be willing to re-test this with the latest Cryptomator version 2.1.1?

If the issue still persists, is there an easy way to create a test package so that we can reproduce it as well?

It’s still happening on 2.1.1. You can generate a .swiftpm package from Swift Playground.
