There should be an option to download videos as audio files, using the -x (extract audio) option of youtube-dl. This is handy for podcasts so that you can listen to them on the go.

The standard format chosen by youtube-dl for audio tends to be opus which isn't widely supported, so it would be a good idea to allow the user to select the preferred audio format for downloads which their audio player supports.
