We have generated audio for the long duration test mezzanine by looping the PN audio mezzanine.

The next step will be to generate mixed audio (looped PN01 + ToS/Croatia audio + beeps).
Once that has been reviewed, if it is acceptable it could be used for all mezzanine durations/files to enables automated audio checks.

This was deemed feasible but not urgent in the 2023-02-14 meeting and is work in progress.

Two questions:

  1. Is this a requirement for Test Content long duration for Test 9.6 Test-Content#39 ?
  2. If so are their requirements w.r.t. the audio encoding settings? If so who's responsible for encoding it? (otherwise I can provide a baseline AAC-LC audio encoding).

@rbouqueau
No, this is not necessary for any test content encoding at this time.
The mezzanine in release 4 is ready for test content generation, this is for future improvement.

Should we label this deferred?

@gitwjr As it's not intended for the upcoming release, I believe that would be appropriate. I've added the label.
