Create target platform file from channel

If a channel is see as the complete repository, then a target platform file could be generated which simply contains all the artifacts in the channel.

In addition to the channel artifacts a little bit of metadata would be required.

The target platform file could also be wrapped in a maven deployment so that Maven Tycho could directly reference this file in the target platform mojo.

Are you aware of this project ? This feature might be very useful in a combination with composite repositories.

Yes, I really like this project.

However, having repository/channel references and the target generator, package drone could do a bit more I think.

Still the DSL file could be generated as well.

What could be interesting though, if you can use an include statement with a "http" URI, then we could render the channel as DSL file and allow an easy inclusion of the whole channel via a parent DSL file.
