  • arrow right can't be used because it has other meaning

  • emacs editing shortcuts do not work

  • PLUS aborting with Ctrl+G should preserve cursor position

On the topic of "arrow right", which currently drops you out of resh in order to edit the command before running it ... I'm used to this behaviour being associated with tab (I think from mcfly).

Tab in resh currently moves you down through the list - but alt+tab doesn't seem to work. If you used tab for the current behavior of arrow-right, then you could free that up again just for navigation.

Unless there's some demand for tab to be used to scroll through options - in which case, alt+tab should probably be fixed (at the moment, for me at least, it brings you straight back to the top result in the list and dumps [Z in the search bar.
