Looks like the code hasn't changed in about a year and there are a number of open issues reported against the codebase. Is this project actively maintained?

Hi!
Well... to be honest, no it isn't. But I'm looking for a new maintainer and would be happy to hand this project over to someone that does put some effort in it.
There's a notice at the top of the readme about this but there wasn't much of a response to this yet.
