Possibility to set a new 'target' before the current operation completes

I am using slider-button-card for controlling venetian blinds. When I set a new position (finger tap or mouse drag), no further action (immediate stop, new target position) can be done until the current operation completes. It takes up to 40 seconds until the blinds complete the full close to open action.

Describe the solution you'd like

A new tap or mouse drag would cause the current action to stop and set a new action (position).
