visual editor and yaml code not working

I get the card to show up, but devices are not listed.

Current song is shown...

I am not sure what i am missing. I try to edit the yaml and the yaml does not save. Always reverts back to just this one line:
type: custom:spotify-card

I try to use the visual editor and those choices i make in the visual editor do not save..

Same issue. The instructions on how to setup the card no longer work.
Seems this is abandoned?
