I do not recommend using dotNetty. The project is unsuccessful by all parameters, because it is a literal port of a Java project, ignoring the C# way (сreates wrappers over standard C# types to mimic standard Java types, and java way) and has many naming violations and SOLID.. migrated here from the original code. I suppose that this was a good experience for the Azure team in semi-automated porting, but not for use in 2025 and not for C#12. And it cannot be fixed by any replacement with zero-copy types. In addition, after the last commit, dotnetty has fallen far behind the original, which is updated several times a week.

I would advise you to spend more time to replace dotNetty with your own solution. Because usually only a miserable part of functionality is used, like channel pipeline, which is easy to implement yourself.

Thank you for the reminder. Regarding Dotnetty, I have implemented multiple protocols and developed my own IOT platform, as well as distributed RTMP streaming. I have made modifications and fixes to Dotnetty, and it is still relatively stable in the initial stage

这个fork的作者也是个中国人，估计不继续下去了。其实那个协议处理框架还是很有用的，有点想看看能不能移植到其他网络结构里面。
