I want to use this for my discord bot, it would be really cool if I could just generate the link with my bot and send it to discord. That way it would just show the image directly and it would solve a lot of headaches. But it looks like there is no image preview on discord for the link. Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry it looks like this is working, maybe sometimes it doesnt work because heroku is slow or something idk. The one thing that I noticed is that if you make the background transparent it doesn't actually become transparent. At least not in the embed.
