When attempting to restore any nand backup, it gives an MBR error, which claims the nand to be corrupted, but it is a false posititive. Only happens on development kits.

This really shouldn't happen. Can you specify? What's the exact error message you get (the one about the MBR is more interesting). And, does that NAND dump have a working TWL partition?
Devkit gm9 seems to have more troubles than this. It won't mount SYSNAND: CTRNAND, TWLN, TWLP, and SD.
This is in addition to numerous crypto problems. Tested with latest commit and latest release.
@zoogie - I guess this may be due to some issues with the included aeskeydb.bin (in /data/). It has devkit keys, though I've never been able to test them. Did that work in earlier versions?
