Hide System Indicatior does not work #141
Comments
I was bit late for the logs, could you post them again. I am using GNOME 46 with extension version 49, everything is working here. |
Just by looking at the file, only thing that looks bit weird are these logs:
Try disabling all other extensions, then try toggling(disable and enable) the "Advanced settings" > "Verbose debugging" in this extension's settings. Finally try toggling "Hide system indicator" option, after that, post the logs one more time. |
Thanks! Here you go: https://0bin.net/paste/HK95L69L#bpTwY1OWa8KD+XbJESolR32c6QxLzcD7-7mZlEBQZWZ |
Your log is missing some information, for example, I cannot see the settings that was set., which is triggered when you toggle "Verbose debugging" I guess I have to check it on Nobra myself to debug it, no ETA on this but will let you know when I have some information. |
Thank you, that is very kind! I did toggle verbose, as you asked me to, so I guess there's more than one thing that's not working totally correctly, then. But this is not a big deal! It can safely be far down on your priority list :) Thanks again! |
Describe the bug
I'm pretty sure it did work the first time I turned it on. But after rebooting it did not work, and after that it has never worked again. I've tried rebooting the PC, restarting the extension, switched the setting on and off, changed the button location, etc
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Delete cache file if it exists and try again
I do not have the
~/.cache/ddcutil_detect
fileJournal logs
It was too long, Github would not let me post it here. I put it in a paste with a 1 month expiry: https://0bin.net/paste/yRhDHCoq#UcfY8iC8ta7rknphAp3vilrG-ayzjTxg49CL/wz1d8O
