Check Boxes

My son and I started a project to have a digital family calendar. We had dry erase one that had to be manually updated each month, and you could never read it. At the bottom, we had a "tracker" for the kids doing dishes. It basically had boxes, and when one child did dishes they could mark a box. This way we could easily know who was next, or even if someone had done it multiple times. Using DakBoard, and after trial and error, we used a "widget" and html code to make the following:

The issue we have is once it refreshes, the boxes are not checked. Any ideas??????

Thats a fun use case you have there. Unfortunately since we refresh entirely every 6 hours DAKboard pages the HTML is simply being reloaded to the original state. In order to accomplish this a database would need to be involved to store this for longer (as well as a means to update, and we could view it with fetch block), as pages can refresh when a device restarts too, losing this progress.
