Occasionally data entries will be added to a building with a _id value of null. It has no pattern, nor is it limited to just one meter/building. Nothing glaringly obvious in our log files points to this even occurring.

Looking into it. It's not feature breaking, but definitely a bug that should get worked out sometime soon.

  • Changed log statements to be more useful for finding the cause
  • removed unnecessary upsert in a findAndUpdate statement. This might be where the issue came from.
