Branch key: master is a stepping-stone to CRAN releases. develop is for developers and users who are able to deal with rapid changes in code that compiles but is not otherwise very stable. testing is mainly for the developers, and it may not even build at any given time.

NEXT RELEASE planned for the week of May 18th, 2015. First, ocedata needs perhaps a few days to work its way through CRAN, after its submission May 17th. Second, oce needs to be tested on the windows test-build machine (done May 17th). Third, oce can be submitted. The submission process seems to take from 2 days to a week, and the new version usually takes a week to 10 days to propagate to all machines and OSes. Given all this, a release by the end of May, 2015 seems feasible.
