[Question]: is the reasoning from #5440 not working for openrouter models?

Hi,

I tried openrouter - deepseek/deepseek-r1:free which does show the thinking process in openrouter chat but i don't see the indicator as implemented in #5440

More Details

i saw in the comments that the cache and browser local storage should be cleared - so i did this as well (after i did a git pull and a docker pull)

not sure if i have to configure something, or if this pull request is not intended to work for openrouter models ... or something strange happens

It does work, but I did notice that the free version is somewhat less reliable.

thx for the info @fuegovic, but I think something is wrong on my setup - i just tried with the deepseek/deepseek-r1 (non-free), deepseek/deepseek-r1-distill-qwen-1.5b and deepseek/deepseek-r1-distill-llama-70b and the "thinking" does not appear as well

as said in my initial question,
i did git pull, docker pull and then restarted the docker container ... browser cache and data was cleaned before test as well

Make sure your using the "-dev" build.

Look in your override file to check that you didn't switch to librechat:latest, if you switched, remove that from the override or change it to "librechat-dev:latest"

i just recently started using librechat and wasn't aware about how the branching / dev process works ... should have thought about that

with the dev build it's working ... thx for the support!!!
