Hello, I was wondering what the -r command line option actually does?
I cant see what extra functionality it provides ?

Thank you very much,

@NFS002 the -r option used in the demo is used to control the number of successors a node has. the successor keeps a replica of all the data the node has so that it can assume the role if the node goes down. the successor can extend past the immediate successor in case of extreme failures
