Create simple Bluetooth Low Energy project with Arduino

In this article, we will develop an Arduino Starship game which will be displayed on an LCD display 16x2.

Almost every tech enthusiast is fascinated by the ultra-cool, tech-savvy character of Tony Stark. Just like Tony, every tech nerd wants to build exciting gadgets and tools for customized tasks and automation. A couple of decades ago, this would’ve stayed a dream for many.

This guide explains how to build a simple ESP8266 firmware updater in NodeJS. The ESP8266 will send a GET request to my application with some key information stored in its header. This will then be used to serve up the appropriate binary.

This is a continuation of Part 1 of our initial simple OTA solution for the ESP8266 or ESP32. In this next part we’ll look into how we can build a more comprehensive OTA solution that does the following:

The Nextion editor does not have full support for string arrays, so I had to think about how to implement language selection and store "language packs" in a con

This article will introduce a few key concepts to help solve the problem of Arduino compatibility on some PLC clones

We have found out some desirible gifts for developers

It all started when we ordered an actuator, with an encoder, from China for a project. But something went wrong, and a month later, we received actuators withou

Compact and waterproof camera based on ESP32 usable for short periods of time, powered by solar energy.

In this short tutorial, I’ll walk you through the process of turning any bicycle into an arcade-like controller for computer games.

Water your plants, get alarms, and analyze the data

An open-source IoT platform that uses microcontroller reconfiguration, capability-based peripherals, GraphQL, TimescaleDB, entity component system, and more.

Oh, the magic of hardware

Combining 3 Arduino boards to create a GPS tracker & data logger.

Using the Arduino board, Ethernet Shield, and RFID module, we will assemble, solder, and program the time tracking device.

Longan Nano with GD32V series MCU costs only $4.9. You then got an Arduino board with 128KB Flash, 32KB RAM, LCD, and even an acrylic case.

Story

The IoT world is powerful, but also quite complex. There are many protocols and vendors and the landscape is fragmented. [As Matt Turck has already shown in 2018.]

Welcome to SIMPLE LEARNING AWS Cloud Home Automation, Zero to Hero Series. In the second part, we will turn ON/OFF the inbuilt led of ESP32 using AWS Device Shadow Service. Before starting, let's do a recap, in Part 1 we have connected the ESP32 MCU with AWS and able to publish Messages to IoT Core. The following series split into four parts (refer below) with very simple and clear instructions to provision a home automation system to control house appliances through the web. Everything covered from scratch you won't face any difficulty understanding. In case of any clarification, drop me a note on LinkedIn. Feel free to explore them with ease, skip to the one which is relevant to you.

Build a DIY air quality monitoring system: How to face the problem of impure air quality due to the increase in pollutants and impurities mixed with the air.

Welcome to SIMPLE LEARNING AWS Cloud Home Automation, Zero to Hero Series, where the readership, essentially Embedded System Engineer & Cloud Engineer will able to learn to create Automated IoT Solutions using ESP32 Module (Hardware), AWS IoT portfolio services (MQTT & Integration assistance) & Arduino sketch (Code). The entire series mainly focuses on the Hardware integration with AWS Cloud to make a system of interrelated computing devices. Python is an important programming language that all developers should know. Many programmers use this language to make websites, produce learning algorithms, and perform different necessary tasks. The best way to learn Python begins with deciding what you want to build. Then you will want to find a course or resources to help you develop your idea. When learning Python, it is very important to start with an idea. If you try to create something that interests you, the process becomes more intense. Learn Python in just 9 simple steps with the Simpliv program.

[Updated - 1st March, 2020] : Course updated, now you can control your connected light either using Google Assistant or Alexa. Kindly check out the Bonus section at the end of the course.

For people with vision problems.

Arduino is an amazing platform to get into hardware development and programming. But there are a few things you need to know before you start.

Our universe is formed by gradually connecting the matter to form the galaxies and stars after the Big Bang explosion. These fully formed planets and stars are conjoint to create the universe in which the human exists. Similarly, in electronics, each component is linked together to make a circuit, which can establish a connection among the components without any resistance in between the process. The connection should form a closed loop that can keep the devices running.

This IoT walk-through lab will show you how to send IoT data from your ESP8266 or ESP32 device, through AWS API Gateway, to Lambda, to a data lake in S3, and finally design a static web page for IoT data visualization.
