Explain better the relation of core topics

The link with "scholarly communication / semantic publishing” is not immediately evident to me. I guess that is mostly for platforms/tools?

The link with web services / APIs is also not apparent. I think the underlying data/service would mostly be of interest instead.

For scholarly communication/semantic publishing -- I'd suggest an editorial round-up of our favorite experiments, in the first issue. We could then link to that from the author guidelines to give more of a sense of that.
