General code clean up

I need to refactor most of the code to make it cleaner and easier to extend.

In particular, I think I will replace all the "manual" parsing of the metadata with the functionalities available in the zarrs library, that will make things much cleaner, and that way what is supported here will line up with the (or at least a) canonical rust zarr implementation.
