Describe the bug
taking forever to load and sometimes will never load the sub data in the app.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

click device settings to add it in the top menu.
Click on the device settings tab at top
Watch it spin a loading icon forever.

Expected behavior
Loads the data\option within the app.
