Hi John, thanks for your message. Yes, Seq's all about rich JSON data. My guess is that perhaps the JSON is reaching Seq embedded in the free text "message" property, instead of forming the body of the log event, which is expected to be fully-structured JSON. What kind of system are you using to produce the logs? |

I am looking for structured logging solutions which not just help with collecting structured logs and creating dashboards that show statistics and plots about the log entries but also help with actually analysing the structured log entries themselves in a user friendly way.
A quick test installation of seq and seqcli did not give me the impression that seq supports this in any way, the dashboard does not seem to allow any widget for actually vieweing event/log entries (especially trace entries with added nested trace data) and the event tab just shows plain json, no matter how complex and nested.
Does the seq event viewer allow collapsable, navigatable, configurable viewing of structured logs in any way?
