How to set different themes for each mode and dynamically change the theme clicking on the mode-switcher?

Hello.
I've set up my rofi configuration file from scratch and turned out to be quite happy with the end result, however, I was configuring the whole thing expecting it to be possible to change the colours depending on the mode rofi is running. The accent-colour-* variables on my file were supposed to be imported from a separate file with the colours for each menu and applied dynamically when I click on the respective mode in mode-switcher. After looking on the man pages and here on the wikia and not finding anything that I would fit my use-case, I ventured into trying to work it out by myself, to no avail.

I tried:

• Setting a different config.rasi file for each mode, with the colours hard-coded and then using a script to call the correct terminal line (rofi -show ), this works but it doesn't work for mode-switcher as I cannot set custom clickable actions. After this the next attempt was to make a script to copy what mode-switcher does but with custom actions, I tried looking out for some dotfiles in r/UnixPorn but I couldn't reproduce it for myself.
• Setting different theme files and then expecting the main config file to import the right colour depending on the mode. I don't know whether this is possible or not, if it is, I couldn't work out the proper syntax to do it.

Here's the general config.rofi, the other files I am importing here just have the *{<colours_here>}.

This is not supported atm (see #1356).

I currently do not have the time to add this feature, as to do it right (tm), it will require significant changes.

Thank you for the quick reply. I'll attempt to do it with custom scripts to close and open the rofi window I guess.
