gsport crashes on x86 10.5 and 10.4 G4

The farthest I go back on Intel is 10.6. Below that I'm all PowerPC. What executable are you running? Is is the one from the downloads page, or are you building out of source?

Since the crash is on startup, there has been some luck in years past by starting with some subsystems disabled:
