Thanks for opening that issue. I also received the email you sent 2 weeks ago and I forgot to answer you. Sorry for that.
My goal is to provide a tool which mimics what's presented on https://conventionalcomments.org. The author didn't provide translations and doing so would then mean this extension would no longer stick to the initial intension.
Nevertheless, I can imagine some people want to customize it (e.g. nitpick vs quibble or use a subset of the convention). An idea could be to have custom labels and decorators. If such a feature is implemented, it would then allow you to use a french alternative of the convention.
Thank you for your answer and no problem for the email.
I know that your extension is inspired by https://conventionalcomments.org/ but I think it will be more acceptable and easy for my team in French.
Be able to have custom labels can be usefull but all the members of my team will have to customize their own browser extension, this is not very usefull...
I also can fork the project, translate all labels, and share to my team, so that all members will have the same tool and labels, but this is a shame to not share translations with other french users...
Perhaps a solution could be to have the choice between english and french (and maybe other languages in the future), and I can help to translate if needed ?
Is it possible to have a translated version in French ?
