Dear David,

The recently released Mrg8 is just wonderful. Small but handy, I have it (& Splt8) everywhere in my patches! There's one feature though that I'm thinking about. Would you please consider normalizing the inputs to each other?

By normalizing the inputs a single cable input #8 would not only open up polyphony channels #1 to #7 but the signal would also be reflected on those channels.

That would mean channel #4 is repeated in #1 to #3 and channel #7 would also appear on channel #5 to #6.

Best regards, Andras

So the proposed result above would be something like this:

Interesting idea. At first glance it seems counter to typical normaling behavior, but it makes sense.

But please do not make it default behavior. It might be good as a context menu option.

I sometimes intentionally leave some low channels blank (empty), and would not want them to automatically get normaled values.

@DaveBenham In the meantime I created a prototype that is available for testing at https://github.com/firolightfog/Yolow under the name of PolyCopy16 or PolyCopy10. The plugin is not released to the Library (and I'm uncertain if it will be) but feel free to experiment with it. I mainly use it for the Voxglitch Digital Sequencer XP step input.
