validation tags

This is more likely a misuse of the tags, but when calling validation tags such as ##validation.author## or ##validation.status##, i'm expecting to see in the mail notification subject, respectively the one who validated his validation request or the current validation status.

But the tag itself (raw text in the subject field as : 'Subject Field : ##validation.status##') appears.
Could you please give me a hint ? Thanks.

as far as i remember, editing from gui is bugged. try editing from sql
